Plain-language summary. Use DataCrew only on sites you are authorized to measure, give visitors the notices and choices the law requires, keep your account secure, and do not send us data the product is not designed to receive.
Agreement and eligibility
By accessing or using DataCrew, you agree to these terms and our Privacy Policy.
If you use DataCrew for a company or another organization, you confirm that you have authority to accept these terms for that organization. You must be legally able to form a binding agreement and must not use the service where doing so would violate applicable law.
If you do not agree, do not create an account, install the tracker, call the APIs, or use the dashboard.
The service
DataCrew provides website analytics, visitor journeys, attribution, conversions, revenue reporting, bot analysis, brand intelligence, and AI-assisted recommendations.
Features may change as the product develops. We may add, modify, limit, or discontinue features, integrations, limits, or beta functionality. We aim to keep the service dependable, but we do not promise that it will always be uninterrupted, error-free, or suitable for every reporting, legal, accounting, or business purpose.
Documentation, examples, sample workspaces, and AI responses are provided to help you use the service; they do not replace your own professional judgment.
Accounts and security
You are responsible for activity carried out through your account and workspace.
- Provide accurate account information and keep it current.
- Protect sign-in links, passwords, connected-provider access, session credentials, API tokens, and revenue tokens.
- Give workspace access only to people authorized to see the relevant analytics and business information.
- Notify us promptly at support@brandcrew.live if you suspect unauthorized access.
We may require email verification, revoke compromised credentials, or take reasonable steps to protect the account and service.
Your sites and data
You keep your rights in the websites, events, traits, revenue records, prompts, and other information you submit to DataCrew.
You give BrandCrew the limited permission needed to host, copy, process, transmit, aggregate, display, and analyze that information to provide, secure, support, and improve DataCrew. This permission lasts only as needed for those purposes and subject to the Privacy Policy.
You are responsible for having all rights and permissions needed to install DataCrew and send data to it. That includes publishing an accurate privacy notice, obtaining consent where required, honoring applicable opt-outs, configuring collection settings appropriately, and responding to requests from visitors to your site.
Do not send passwords, authentication tokens, full payment-card data, government identifiers, health information, precise location, children’s data, or other sensitive personal data unless DataCrew expressly supports it in writing and you have a lawful basis to do so.
Acceptable use
Use DataCrew for legitimate analytics and business intelligence, not surveillance, abuse, or interference.
You may not:
- Track a website, app, person, or account without authorization or required notice and consent.
- Use the service to violate privacy, data-protection, consumer-protection, export, sanctions, or other laws.
- Upload malware; probe or bypass security; disrupt the service; or access data belonging to another customer.
- Reverse engineer the service except where the law expressly permits it, resell access without written permission, or use automated means that unreasonably burden the platform.
- Use DataCrew to discriminate, harass, deceive, or make high-impact decisions about a person without appropriate human review and legal authority.
Plans and billing
Paid subscriptions are billed through Polar using the price, currency, and interval shown at checkout.
By purchasing a recurring plan, you authorize renewal charges until you cancel. Taxes may be added where required. You can manage or cancel an eligible subscription through the billing portal. Cancellation normally takes effect at the end of the current paid period unless the checkout terms or applicable law say otherwise.
Fees are non-refundable except where required by law or expressly stated at purchase. We may change future pricing or plan limits with reasonable notice. A change will not retroactively alter a period you have already paid for.
AI and third-party services
Some DataCrew features depend on third-party services or generate output using artificial intelligence.
AI responses may be incomplete, outdated, or incorrect. You are responsible for reviewing recommendations before acting on them, especially for financial, legal, employment, security, or other consequential decisions. Do not rely on DataCrew as a substitute for qualified professional advice.
Google or GitHub sign-in, Polar billing, email delivery, AI models, research tools, and other integrations may be governed by their providers’ terms. We are not responsible for third-party services outside our control, but our handling of information sent to them is described in the Privacy Policy.
Ownership and feedback
BrandCrew and its licensors own DataCrew, including its software, design, branding, documentation, and service-generated systems.
These terms give you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use DataCrew while your account is active and compliant. They do not transfer ownership of the service or our intellectual property.
If you send suggestions or feedback, you allow us to use them without restriction or payment, but we will not treat your private workspace data as public feedback.
Suspension and termination
You may stop using DataCrew at any time and may request account deletion through support.
We may suspend or terminate access when reasonably necessary to address a terms violation, security risk, unlawful activity, non-payment, material harm to the service or others, or a legal requirement. Where practical, we will provide notice and an opportunity to resolve the issue.
After termination, your right to use the service ends. Provisions that by their nature should continue—including ownership, payment obligations, disclaimers, limitations, and dispute-related terms—will survive.
Disclaimers and liability
DataCrew is provided “as is” and “as available” to the fullest extent permitted by law.
BrandCrew disclaims implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and any warranty arising from course of dealing. We do not warrant that analytics, attribution, revenue matching, bot classification, research, or AI output will be complete or perfectly accurate.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, BrandCrew will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, data, goodwill, or business opportunities. BrandCrew’s total liability arising from DataCrew will not exceed the amount you paid for the service during the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim, or USD $100 if you paid nothing. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions, so parts of this section may not apply to you.
General terms and contact
These terms, together with the Privacy Policy and terms presented at checkout, form the agreement for DataCrew.
If one provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue. A failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. You may not assign the agreement without our consent; BrandCrew may assign it as part of a reorganization, financing, merger, acquisition, or sale of assets. Neither party is responsible for delay caused by events beyond reasonable control.
We may update these terms as DataCrew changes. The revision date will be updated, and material changes may also be communicated through the service. Continuing to use DataCrew after updated terms take effect means you accept them.
Questions about these terms can be sent to support@brandcrew.live.
